Part of the tradition of Burrowes Jam is its popularity as a set of products for fund-raising projects. The original owners, Roger and Rayleen Burrowes in 1993 came up with an idea which grew from their own experiences in trying to raise money for the various events and trips that their children were involved in.
Their idea was to produce a Fund Raising Jam in a larger jar which the children could on sell and make money to help fund their ventures and projects. This worked well and after moving to their new factory in Rakaia, the fund-raising orders exploded in volume literally by word of mouth and repeat orders.
Now, a decade later, huge numbers of schools, sports groups, Plunkets, kindergartens and other groups on-sell a variety of Burrows Jam products, making a profit on each item. So popular is the venture that many come back regularly in what has become an annual event.
To date, most fund-raising customers are in the South Island, but now a growing number are North Island organisations, and we welcome further interest from that area.

Each order is custom made and no returns can be accepted. We will accept an amendment to the order if received within one working day of us receiving it. Payment is on receipt of invoice.
